I was just thinking, don't underestimate how big a loss Silva and Sane would be for City, I wasn't anticipating they'd fill the void by going out and signing the Goat. 🤯

Sounds like the footballers in the 80s should've played thugby

I was being sarcastic. Messi's been amazing. His legs are going but he'll still contribute a lot to the game. I'd be curious to see him at City and maybe evolve into a deeper lying playmaker.

Almost spat out my imaginary coffee. City don't follow no financial fair play rules..... Neither do Chelsea though [emoji38]. City can take Messi, just gonna be sweater banging in them in against them.
Sweater? Maybe we could sell them to get through FFP.

For Portugal he refuses to move unless his team has the ball. Even then only if he feels like it.

Football is more than graft and running. This is why the English suck at it.

I can't believe Messi requires defending.
Did you happen to see the last Euro Cup matey? Ronaldo led an OK Portugal to Champions of Europe. His effort for his country was exceptional.

Did you see the 2018 FIFA World Cup where both of the great South American footballing nations were embarrassed because of the cult-of-personality? Argentina lacked a center forward, a proper striker, to finish of the "hard graft and running" of it's players and had one of the great finishers in Aguero on the bench whilst the tourist Mesi was on holiday on the pitch and gave them absolutely nothing!

Brazil, well they got a bit further and who knows how far they could have got if their coach had the balls to pull NEYMAR into line who thought that everything was about him.

Ronaldo would not have lasted 5 minutes under Ferguson if he didn't do the team defending that he demanded and because Ronaldo played in England, it's made him a far better player.

I am not suggesting that Messi put in crunching tackles but you would want to see a player, regardless of who it is, when the move breaks down and your player is within 5 meters of the play, you'd want to see him do something to help his team mates but not Messi, he clocks off. Opponents run right by him within 5 meters carrying the ball and Messi just watches them! He's not a team man's arseh*le and if he thinks that he's going to get away with that crap in the EPL, then he should not bother coming to England.

Depends, he presses and tracks back in big games and demands the team around to press with him, most games he conserves his energy though.
To a great degree yes. I see you're a Juve man and you would watch him week in and week out.

Dean Henderson signs til 25"

Dean Henderson ready to fight for #MUFC No.1 spot: “The goalkeeping department at United is excellent; there are three top-level goalkeepers who have achieved so much in the game & I look forward to working with the group”

Your talking about Ronaldo under SAF? that wasn't recent mate. At the euros he looked incredible lazy.

Good thing the other 10 blokes defend for him.

Speaking of such rumours he fancy United again.

Messi's departure will be similar to Cristiano's at Real Madrid. There will be a friendly pact between the club and the player. Now, Messi sure that he will leave something in the box of the Barça. His signing: around 150 million euros
