Messi has made an irrevocable decision. Not even Bartomeu’s resignation would stop Messi from leaving. He will not wear the Barcelona shirt again. [Alfredo Martínez

Hard to believe it's real

Koeman must have really pissed him off. Surely they let him go now if someone ponies up 150-200m. With the sort of money Messi is being paid he needs to get on with it until that happens. Would be rather poor if he refuses to train considering the money he is on and the fact that millions are destitute without a job due to the pandemic.

Really only City / PSG that can probably afford him.

United could.

Randoms that are owned by billionaire guys might too. Inter. Wolves?

Bayern maybe? They paid 80m for a defender tbat hardly makes the strongest squad.

But yeah, sound like city. What a ridiculous 11 / depth they will have.

Chelsea Better buy Oblak ASAP

I don't see your ownership being prepared to shell out 200m on a short term signing with little to no resale value.

Bayern certainly not, they don't do transfers like this. City/PSG have ownership that can afford a 200m short term signing with little resale value.

Messi has shown what a f****ng disgrace he is. His team lost 8-2 and he wants to leave?

He runs probably less than any other professional footballer on earth, he was a complete and utter passenger in the World Cups he's played in and I hope some idiot manger in the EPL brings him to the league because he'll get eaten alive. He won't be the protected species he is in Spain where referees give him frees because he wants them and opposition players steer clear of him so they won't be crucified by the Spanish press - he'll be destroyed! Which manager in the Premier League will play him even though he doesn't run, doesn't tackle, doesn't press and lets opponents run past him five yards away with the ball and doesn't even bother trying to put in?

Messi is not, has never been or will ever be a team player - he's an overrated joke. Great ball control, top class shot but that's not the be all and end all of being a top class player and he has shown that when playing for Argentina.
It's definitely either this.... or he's the greatest footballer of all time.

3 years for pedro seems a fair bit will be 36 by the time the contract ends.

Then again Arsenal signed willian for 3 years too.
A lot of players can leave clubs way before the contracts end unless wages are super high.

They tried to buy Griezmann who I now 29... But he chose barca which is sort of ironic now.

You'd think buying Messi would generate lots of money for the owners too.

Messi at 200m is not going to be profitable for any club. If he can somehow push the freebie through maybe but you have to ask wha his wages would do to a wage structure.

What are your plans for Kepa if you sign another keeper? Probably not a good idea to have him hanging around if possible.
Loaned out until his contract ends with us paying a portion of his wage probably.

No one is going to pay him what we studidly are.
