You don't just have to sign players named Rodrigo, you know.

It’s Mr. De Paul to you 😂

Seriously though, it seems getting Koch for £13m instead of White at £30+ has enabled us to go after a better #10 to eventually replace Hernandez. Kent was mooted at £15m as the #10 if we got White.

Most MOTM’s in Serie A in 19/20.

Weren’t Juve chasing this guy? I’d be surprised but gees this would a hell of a coup.

Yes Juve, Napoli and Inter have all wanted him.

Plays in behind Messi and Dybala for Argentina.

barca getting la liga to release a statement about his release clause is pretty amusing. this whole thing has nothing to do with the 700 mil now. either messi and his team believe that his contact with barca is over or it's not. no one is coming in with 700 mil so it's a non factor.
And here's me thinking Senor Tebas was on our side, lol. Betrayal.

A bit hilarious that Barcelona want to show their might by holding Messi to his mythical £700 mill release clause to the point where they won't even sell him for a reasonable £150+ mill and in the end they might keep him for the entire season on a contract that expires next summer.

So United DO have money

Seems a little weird signing tho. He’s surely not starting in front of Pogba or Bruno. So is he depth? That’s fairly expensive if so

Great performer in Europe....Still only 23.....Will improve our midfield depth significantly....Brilliant signing.

Gone are the days when your depth signing is going to make a couple of starts, and a few sub appearances and maybe develop into something better.

Your backups nowadays will start 20 matches, and if a Pogba or Fernandez gets a long term injury they should be able to slot straight in without it derailing your season.

£45m is a decent price for a decent young player.

I think so, yeah.

I don't mind it though as I think that our depth options need upgrading on more urgently than any of our first team options do. In the first half of the last season there was no Bruno or Pogba, Matic was out of favour, and Martial and Rashford were rarely fit at the same time. This meant that guys like Pereira, Lingard, Mata, James, who just aren't up to it, played way too much football. Unsurprisingly we looked like a completely different team after the break, but we also started dropping points at the end there when guys in the first team who badly needed a rest were ran into the ground because Ole doesn't trust his bench.

“As in January for #Kulusevski L' #Inter also on #Tonali decides not to raise. Rejoice #Cellino which you can cash out up to € 38M from #Milan . Contract until 2025 from € 2.2M (up) net + bonus. Now for the Nerazzurri (they have in hand #Vidal ) sales and then assault a #Kantè”

Fulham were leaky at the back in the Championship before they came up.. they bought Alfie Mawson but that was it, relied on Denis Odoi, Cyrus Christie, Joe Bryan, Fosu-Mensah and Callum Chambers on loan.. was never going to work.

A lot of Fulham's squad when they went up the first time were loanees (same with Villa). They had to spend on a new first 11 pretty much otherwise they'd have gone down with less points then Derby.

They'll surely let him go for 150-200m. Pretty funny that some thought he could leave for free lol
