They'll surely let him go for 150-200m. Pretty funny that some thought he could leave for free lol

If a bid like that comes in, I don’t know how Barcelona dont sell him. That is a total reasonable fee for a 33 year old. I mean, I would be totally fascinated if someone did pay €700m for Messi but that would be absolutely ridiculous.

I agree. They were always going to lose Messi eventually. One way or another.

If they can get 100-200m it's a pretty good start to the rebuild.

Fati. Demeble. And the benfica bloke might flourish? You'd expect there pressing becomes more balanced too

Barca huge winners if they sell him now for 150-200m instead of him walking on a free next summer.

This time around they'll need to ensure it is spent correctly!

I doubt they'll get close to 200m for him. Barca can't come out of this as winners either, no matter what happens, the marketing alone will damage them immensely.

First reply to that tweet lol, Fulham comparisons begin.

We have signed a Spanish and German internationals, not sure Fulham did. Gvardiol can play both LB and CB ...both needs. Ben who?

Fulham were leaky at the back in the Championship before they came up.. they bought Alfie Mawson but that was it, relied on Denis Odoi, Cyrus Christie, Joe Bryan, Fosu-Mensah and Callum Chambers on loan.. was never going to work.

The comparison is spunking a lot of money on players and going straight back down, it isn't a literal "They'll concede as many goals as Fulham".

Sadly I don't think it'll be West Ham who relegate them, that's too early. Might be Burnley or dare I say it.. Brighton.

I suspect Brighton/Leeds will be appointment viewing for this board. When do they first play each other?

Weirdly January, must be just about their latest fixture of the first half. Building up the hype I guess.

This a bit of a comparison between Leeds and Fulham that someone put together.

That's a lot of tweets to say "Hey you guys are being mean, we're going to stay up".

It’s just a comparison between the 3 clubs mate. That’s it.

Because he saw some people being mean about Leeds on Twitter.

I'm just amused that an offhand comment about you spunking 100m and getting relegated by West Ham has triggered your lot so much.

Triggered? Really? It’s like a point scoring exercise with every post on this board. I honestly have barely read anything on here outside of the Championship thread in 10 years so not sure if this is normal but it just appears that a handful of Leeds posters seem to have rattled everyone on here by posting up Leeds related transfer news.

Meanwhile in other news it’s been decided that Hull’s home clash with Accrington in Nov will be first game with full spectators allowed. Crowd of 300 expected
Not really transfer news is it?

That's pretty definitive. Messi isn't going anywhere without Barca's permission unless he pays his release clause to La Liga.
Read on reddit before that they tried to pull the same with Neymar's transfer but we know how that went.
