That defence is scarily bad.
Yeah surely that the next window. New CBs and a new GK.That defence is scarily bad.
I mean they should have fixed that first, it was the glaring weakness but they spent £200m in two windows fixing a not broken sectionYeah surely that the next window. New CBs and a new GK.
Our attack was pretty broken...I mean they should have fixed that first, it was the glaring weakness but they spent £200m in two windows fixing a not broken section
True with crabby Abraham. Our attack was pretty broken...
Never had trouble getting the ball forward but then it was stagnant.
Our attacking stats were woeful.
Inanimate carbon rod > ZoumaKovacic > Mount and Silva way way way way > Rudiger
We got Chilwell and brought in Silva who will be fine for a year when I reckon we have a good look at Upamecano.True with crabby Abraham.
But that much investment? One player already changed it enough, yes you need depth but you also need a defence.
When Werner and Havertz are there to take you just have to grab them.I mean they should have fixed that first, it was the glaring weakness but they spent £200m in two windows fixing a not broken section
I mean if you have a spare £100m sure. Looks like Cheslea and City are the only two that can afford that. When Werner and Havertz are there to take you just have to grab them.
Well we did have a ban that stopped us from spending the Hazard/Morata/etc sales last year. I guess Corona made it easier for us to get the best talents this window.I mean if you have a spare £100m sure. Looks like Cheslea and City are the only two that can afford that.
But they've funded this from transfers?Big Russian Oil....almost as stinky as Middle East oil.
Well, morata was sold for less than he was bought. Plus that's only £120m of 200+ spent in two windows. Sales are also hard to judge, but again really the only two clubs who can afford anything, and with the perpetual motion of CL attracting the best who then make them qualify for cl etc etc.. certain players would never go to a slightly lower clubWell we did have a ban that stopped us from spending the Hazard/Morata/etc sales last year. Hey, the won the carabao cup!Big season for pep and city. Another trophyless season and pep will get the sack
