Good on Chelsea for spending what they can afford to improve their squad.

Hopefully all clubs push as far as they can responsibly. They're letting their supporters down if they don't.

Just saw this, grab the popcorn.

They sound like they are financially in the shit, more so than any other club in the division at the moment.

Even though we never publicly registered our interest I think that's about as close as we'll ever get to the Messi dream.

In three months time he'll be able to sign a pre contract, in 8 months time he won't need to go through the courts to move. But by then there'll be another election at Barca, and if I don't think Messi left anyone in doubt which way they should vote when that day comes.

You probably got him if you registered an official bid for a decent amount.

I dont think i have ever seen Havertz play in a central midfield three.

With their squad, Chelsea are probably more suited to a 4-2-3-1 formation.

Cabellero
(Kepa)

Azpilicueta-Rudiger-Silva-Chilwell
(James-Tomori-Zouma-Alonso)

Kovacic-Kante
(Barkley-Jorginho)

Ziyech-Havertz-Pulisic
(LoftusCheek-Mount-HudsonOdoi)

Werner
(Abraham/Giroud)

Put it this way. Remember when we had the guy plant the corner flag against Burnley about 2.5 years ago.

Sullivan goes out and makes Pellegrini the 3rd highest paid manager in the division and spends about 100M on players but only paid about a quarter of that up front. Same thing with Hallers transfer last season.

He's been borrowing against future tv rights money for years now. Can you imagine if we got relegated how much further up the shit we'd be?

But then have just bid 15m for Tarkowski.

Barcelona proving again that they are the most pathetically run club in the world. Imagine treating Messi like this, demanding a ridiculous figure. Ronaldo was allowed to leave for 100m.

For Messi he can sign contract with another team in a few months and will come out of it smelling like roses.
