Huge fee though considering he has scored 1 goal at senior level.

Lot better than his 126m euro release clause. Will be interesting to find out how much game time he gets early on. Still need a RWB and LWB with Doherty out and Jonny injured, plus a another decent CB as we have Saiss or Dendoncker as our 3rd CB who are both really defensive midfielders.

Release clause doesn’t = value.

Especially in Spain and Portugal.

I feel like most release clauses for a good player in La Liga are worth more than 100M usually, or at least that was the way in Footy Manager whenever you'd negotiate a contract for one of the teams there etc.

Well we may have got a bargain. Won't know for a year or 2 as he is only 17 but if he's as good as the last kid we got from Porto he is a bargain at half the price.

Neves was £16m? A 20 year old fully capped Portugal international when you bought him.

Not yet but he will have to start. Plus we have Oskar Burr on the right!!!! If we don't get a RWB prior to the season we may just end up playing Traore there again.

Interesting. From an FPL perspective I know a lot are getting Vinagre because he should start for you but if you don't think he's up to it he might not end up doing too well.

On that score, you're to be heartily commended on your bravery, in heralding your club colors so courageously.... So many posters here seem to be less forth-coming on that front....It's terribly annoying....We're not bloody mind-readers.

I'm sure posters of all other 17 clubs, have had the pleasure of 4 Cups in the last 12 seasons....What that has to do with the EPL however, is anyone's guess.
