Neithers Luiz, he can have great games and sh*t games. They are pretty similar.

Oh okay, I thought you were joking. Well then, I would agree with that sort of assessment. DDG being a Lovren equivalent is just disrespectful though lol.

More like the David Luiz of keepers nowadays.
Still capable of playing to a very high level but you just know there's something horrendous coming?
Sounds about right.

40m for a player with one senior goal is ridiculous
This is an interesting question for me (might be an interesting main board discussion?). The kid is only 18 years old but has scored goals in the lower age groups for his country and played (and scored) for Porto in the Portugese league so has played well against men. Has an absolute ton of potential which you have to pay for.

The question is: If there was no draft and Rowell was to go to the club who offered him the most money under the salary cap, how much would you be willing to pay for a player with no senior games and no goals?

Would anyone have paid United 40m for greenwood before this season?

Im glad it wasnt. Mbappe may not have been the same player he is now if it was accepted (Sancho) and Ligue 1 is the best place for young talent to develop in any case.
Can't tell whether this is a troll or not.

De Gea's decline has been blown way out of proportion. It makes sense though when he'd been performing at such a high level for so long that his mistakes are going to draw a lot more attention. Particularly from opposition fans who become accustomed to seeing him single handedly deny their teams of three points over the years.

Personally I'm a tad concerned about the frequency and impact of the errors which have crept into his game but it isn't happening anywhere near as often as people seem to think. I don't think he's in any danger of losing his spot to Henderson just yet and I think the competition will actually do him some good.

The bigger the rise, the greater the (perceived) fall.
Wouldn't go out of our way to take DDG but at the same time if he were our GK I wouldn't mind too much.

Apparently Newcastle have bid for Jamal Lewis. No idea why we aren't ******* all over that.
Why would he join to be back up?
Probably start a lot more games at Newcastle
