They have lied before it's hardly be surprising if they don't again.

It was laughable to think that United would get the biggest deal in their history done before that deadline. The season hadn't even finished at that point.

I've felt all along that this one would go right down to the wire and I'm confident that it will get done if United manage to meet Dortmund's price. My only doubt about this is that it seems clear that the club were hoping to make a few sales first to fund the move and with the exception of Smalling it seems like we're going to struggle to offload players.
