It’s a terrible deal like maybe you could pass it off as good if the buy back was for double what you paid but you’re basically being paid to loan him unless he flops
Not the worst deal. If they want him back we still make a profit, and loan out Sess for development.

So spurs have agreed to pay 30m for reguilon with a buyback of 35m in 2021 and 40 m in 2022

In that case can see why united said feck off

Develop another clubs player, pay millions in wages and probably don’t even make anything on the initial transfer fee. Good decision by United to say **** off. With such a low buyback clause it wasn’t worth it for a year or 2 of Real Madrid’s property.

Spurs got 100 for bale some reports claimed
When bale left he was like the 3rd best player in the world

Dortmund Got a massive fee for dembele they will get one eventually for sancho and most likely Bellingham

Bellingham at 17 is apparently there 5th highest transfer of all time at 26m

Demeble was the best young player in the world and a natural choice for a Neymar replacement

The haaland deal IMHO proves Dortmund are a very middling club

In a farmer league
You say that like Tottenham didn’t come third in a two horse race for the PL when Leicester won.

That was their title to lose - and they did.

I would say it was Leicester’s to lose from January onwards. They were simply incredible. One defeat after Boxing Day.

Imagine throwing $50 on them at 5000/1 odds.

What an idiotic post.

During the run in, Leicester was always around two games clear and remained flawless. Spurs have bottled plenty chances to win trophies but it is a stretch calling the 15/16 season a proper title race.

If he can play a key role in securing top 4 or a trophy it will be a winning deal

Berba. Walker. Modric. Carrick were big fees too. Back in those days.

Levy built a reputation on it. Rejected some monster-Kane offers too

English Dortmund...
Whoosh.
not really the gist of what I was saying

Get players in to help win trophies or secure CL football >>>> Replacing Kane.

If upgrading LB and adding Bale achieves that then money well spent

Spurs were favourites to win the title prior to the game against West Ham on 3/3. At that stage you were 2 points behind with a game in hand. 15/16 was a bottle job.

3 behind and from that moment Leicester scored 24 of the available 30 points. Would have meant we would have had to won 9 of the last 10 to win it

Yep 100 million for Sancho is great business though 😂

When Arsenal beat Leicester it kicked the door open for both Arsenal and Tottenham to win the title. From there on both of those clubs went on to lose games they shouldn’t have lost and put themselves out of the race.

What do they need most?
Its so ****ed I can't even think of where to begin.

We need a gun CB first off. Toby is on his last legs. Dier & Sanchez not world class at all.

We're heavy on CMs but none are really that good apart from Lo Celso who is brittle as ****. NDombele has the talent but has the fitness levels of an amateur

We also need a ST who can play with Kane or lead the line on his own to give Kane a rest.

Belotti would be the most important signing of the 3 and he is the least likely.
