Remember when United signed Veron and everyone said the league was done and dusted. Doesn't always work out.

Reminds me of a joke.

Alex Ferguson was a judge in the Miss Universe competition. The Brazilian entrant walks up to him, whips the left boob out and says "you are an inspiration to me, can you please autograph my breast". Ferguson obliges. The Chilean entrant walks up, whips the right boob out and says "I love the way you get your teams to play, you are my idol. Can you please autograph my breast".

The Argenitinian entrant walks up, lifts her skirt up and says "I've followed your career since I was a child, it has always been a dream of mine to meet you. Please give me an autograph". Ferguson stands up and walks away saying "no thanks lass, last time I signed an Argentinian campaigner it cost me £28m".

If your partner or spouse is Italian you need to be able to pass a language test, and it's fairly difficult, my wife has an Italian passport (although can't speak Italian) through her grandparent. I automatically get citizenship if I can learn Italian well enough... (oh and this only came into force in 2018, and my wife couldn't be bother getting her citizenship sorted until this year despite having all the documentation required for about 10 years, I'm still annoyed by it)
No, you're right. I heard several times his wife is Italian (or has an Italian passport). Because of this, Suarez was able to get an Italian passport himself, but he still had to go through a procedure, which included sitting a test. The problem was that all of this took too long.

We've had no biters for Harry Wilson and Marko Grujic yet, so we've funded the Thiago move by selling Brewster.
Where's he going?

Thiago and Bale are damn good signings for Liverpool and Spurs respectively. Thiago surprisingly cheap.
Not really surprising. Thiago rejected Bayern's contract offer and expressed his desire to leave.(reportedly to Liverpool). Bayern were then keen to get some money by negotiating a deal rather than risk losing him for nothing.
Liverpool held the whip hand.

Sounds like Sheffield United for 25mil. (With a buy-back inserted)

How on earth do you keep finding buyers for youngsters who have proven nothing, for absurd fees?

Brewster is pretty promising.

I should ask you the same question dude.

Once again - & I can't stipulate this point enough senor Pantskyle redacted - You were wrong & I was right....Dem be the facts.

I know that doesn't seem to count for much in your tribal little mind-set world on here, but it does in mine & many others.

Just because you mis-read the none-too-subtle details in Romano's tweets, don't go projecting your error onto others.

Own up to your mistakes & can the personal agenda sh*te.

Telles to utd talk. Clickbait or legit guru?

I have a theory that because we are top (or near the top of the league), smaller clubs think all our depth/youth would automatically be good for their teams.

Solanke is the only one I haven't really understood, all those other big money sales were players who were talked up a fair bit. Even Solanke had some U23s pedigree.
