Take the Dembele chat for instance, he's suddenly become a possible player to buy because a change in management and shake up at Barca means he might be available. It seems to me that Dembele was never on United's radar but when he becomes available they shift focus to him.

It's a strange way to operate.

You do know that sides have plan A's through to Z on positions? The links to Dembele have no substance to them but if United were interested it would be because the other plans failed.

Well no because the targets are very clear, they wanted Maguire, they got him, they wanted Bruno, they got him, they wanted VDB, they got him, they want Sancho and time will tell.

Otamendi is a weird one. Didn't want him at the time, and he frustrated me a lot, with his diving in.

But was a real warrior and never gave less than 100%.

Scored some important goals and was our best defender in a league winning season (13/14?).

So after being keen to see him moved on for a year or two, it's quite sad now that he has.
