He's a month younger than Vardy who won the Golden Boot last year. But unlike Vardy, Cavani's output has dropped over the last couple of seasons.

Igalo leaves at the end of January so Cavani will replace him in getting a few games in the FA Cup and against weaker opponents in the Champs League (Europa League after they get knocked out )

He hasn't played for a few months but would have been training in some capacity. He is fit, just not match fit.
