More worried that they had Wenger to steer that ship with universal control on transfers. Could spot a young player well.
We don't have someone of that calibre and a complete donkey in charge of recruitment. Probably scouts off FIFA.

Well one definitely is... or was
Yeah, you guys getting Potter or someone else?

getting a 13yo in to build our scout list using Fifa would be preferable to Hitchen

Cadena SER] Emerson Royal will be Barça’s first signing in the summer. The player’s environment ensures that he will do the pre-season with the team and that he will stay at the club. Emerson already has a home in Barcelona

Even if City got Kane it doesn't make them unbeatable. Kane would be a striker that they'd have to change tactics for and maybe it doesn't work.

Have you watched any Spurs games? Kane drops into midfield to construct the play then gets into the box to score. He would be perfect for Man City.

France football:

Linked to Lille for two more seasons and also on the shelves of AC Milan, Ikoné would find a strong French-speaking colony (Bürki, Meunier, Zagadou, Witsel, Hazard, Guerreiro ...). His speed, his explosiveness and his dribbling would marry perfectly with the philosophy of play that plans to install Rose, namely an offensive and spectacular style in order to give pleasure to the fans of the BVB, which no technician has achieved since the departure of Jürgen Klopp six years ago. If the Dortmund recruiters also ticked the names of Donyell Malen (22 years old, PSV Eindhoven), David Neres (24 years old, Ajax) and Pedro Gonçalves (22 years old, Sporting Portugal) on their list, the native of Bondy is figure of priority. The decision-makers of the recent German Cup winner are said to be willing to spend € 25m to s' attach his services by offering him a four-season lease. In order to convince him, they planned to invite him to visit the facilities and the magnificent Signal Iduna Park, as they had done to seduce Erling Haaland a year and a half ago

The Times understands that Barcelona have made contact with Harry Kane but the striker’s preference is to remain in the Premier League. Levy believes that Kane is worth a fee of up to £150 million but it is understood that United may attempt to use Jesse Lingard as part of the deal.
So 150 million then. :D

And City already have players that do the midfield work, who also score.

Yeah he wouldn't be an upgrade on Ferran Torres and Gabriel Jesus at all :drunk:

Unsure why you are taking it so personally. All I said is that if city signed Kane it doesn't make them unbeatable. Now you've included a player who mostly plays wing to try and argue what exactly?

The point is they're pretty unbeatable now.

Adding a player who can do what they need and is an upgrade on what they have will improve them will it not?

Thiago Silva signs on for another season. Nice.

Should see us fine at CB for another season with Rudiger returning to top form(thank **** we didnt sell him to Spurs) , James looking another option there and Tomori and Guehi waiting in the wings.

I think we'll sell one of Zouma or Tomori though.

They lost this morning. Suppose maybe they beat Brighton with Kane.

The only animosity between Spurs and United is in the Spurs boardroom. We are not rivals.

Never said we were rivals, in the sense that Arsenal and Chelsea are our rivals.

We are competitors, and equal competitors in the post-Fergie era. A couple of weeks ago we were co-competitors in an ill-judged, short lived 'Superleague'.

There's a difference.

We are sick of being typecast as the Man United feeder club though. Went through the same nonsense with Bale and Poch too.

You certainly don't represent the views of the majority of Spurs fans in the UK.

Polled them have you?

Most of them are nauseated at the sight of Sky pundits behaving like salivating dogs over Kane's future - a mere couple of weeks after the public outcry about the pitfalls of a superleague. And this 'Kane to Man Utd' story has been running for five years in the press.

Most don't begrudge Kane potentially wanting to leave and pin the blame for that on Levy and Lewis.

Most wouldn't begrudge the Kane the chance to leave for titles.

Real, Barcelona, City, Paris SG, Bayen Munich - it sucks, but the supporter base won't begrudge him his move.

Man United or Liverpool? That's a whole different kettle of fish. And if you don't understand why, remember that it's mere months since we beat you 6-1 at Old Trafford, and less than two years since we faced off with Liverpool for the ultimate prize in football. We finished above you guys four times in six years, and above Liverpool seven times in eight years. And it's about 13 years or so since our star strike force was broken up and sent to Man U and Liverpool. Fans are not stupid, they know and remember this stuff.

Now throw in the superleague catasrophe, a convoluted and expensive stadium move, and misgivings over the entire transformation from Pochettino to Mourinho, and you've got yourself a tinderbox just waiting to be lit. So yes, fans blame Lewis and Levy. Which is why convincing the sale of our talisman to any team we've been more than holding our own against in the last decade is an almost impossible sell for the board.

They really had a lot to play for this morning.

12 points clear and 5 months ago were 7th. Adding Kane to their squad widens the gap to the rest.

If you say so.
