Kane is the definition of a complete striker. If they need a poacher in the box he could do that. If they need someone to link with midfield he could do that. If they need someone to press centre backs and defensive midfielders he can do that. There's not too many systems or sides he doesn't get into and improve the side and be one of if not their best players out there.

Coutinho was our star player, had just signed a 5 year contract at 25 years old. Barca had just received 200m for Neymar. The transfer market was heavily inflated.

A fee like that wont happen in this covid market.

The whole no money in this post COVID market surely opens up clubs to offering cash plus players for these massive deals. Jesus + a fee is being touted. As is Martial + a fee. Don't think anyone will be able to stump up more than 80m but a player or two thrown in with it could sway Levy. You'd like to think a new manager is sorted before any decision is made on Kane though.

As long as Kane doesn't end up at United, I can move on with my life. While United is a

City is ok, hard to take their ex-pat fans seriously as the club is basically a franchise, though, in their defence, most City fans understand where their success comes from (purchasing/salary power) as opposed to United fans who have deluded themselves into believing their success is culture.
