Its a tough one. He cost us £50m or so and I think his standing in the game has improved, especially in England.

But I'm not sure there's going to be a whole lot of £60m+ CB signings in this day and age.

I'd feel a bit ripped off if we got any less than that though.

I'd imagine that RM would love to have him, especially if Varane does move on - would help to replace him + will have the added benefit of being a starting CB for the Spanish NT. I guess the biggest question in that scenario is what the difference in prices would be, and whether RM can afford it given they apparently don't want to spend
