You said Grealish was likely to leave and when pressed on why you thought that was the case, you said someone would buy him, then when asked who, you said probably City. Just feels like you're hopeful he'll go for some reason, rather than, I dunno "I saw this article suggesting he'll go". That's all.

I never mentioned City, someone else I think. I’m not hopeful he goes either. Couldn’t care less if he stays or goes. Plenty of articles speculating he may leave. Same speculation you see with other high profile players. Could increase his profile greater at Euros as his recent performances for England have been promising. I don’t think this is anything too surprising.

Turns out that an intermediary was used last summer who demanded 20m quid which was a major stumbling block. With Woody pretty much sidelined and United doing multiple deals at once this could be sorted relatively quickly.
