If Kane is prepared to divide the spurs fan base he could facilitate his move to City quite easily. A lot of Spurs fans don't like Levy. A lengthy puff piece in the papers or interview on Sky discussing the agreement he had with Levy and the supposed broken promises etc would do the trick I feel. He's not going to a traditional rival and he doesn't have to be campaigner about it like Walker on his way out the door.

Lots of people on here saying that he shouldn't have signed his contract if he wanted to leave. Look at the situation when he signed on. He signed the deal in early June 2018 at the age of 24. The club gave Poch a new deal, increased the clubs wage structure and had a new stadium around the corner. They had put together some really good seasons and were definitely in contention for the title/trophies. This was at a time when Dele Alli knew how to play football.

12 months later they make a champions league final and Kane's decision looks smart on his part. Since then Spurs have gone downhill on and off the field (excluding moving into the new stadium) whilst Kane at least statistically has been better than ever.

Now he looks stupid for agreeing to the contract and we all made decisions at 24 that we regret but you can only really judge someones decision based on the facts (hi Rafa) at the time. Contracts this, Contracts that, there is still a large portion of business that gets done over here the old fashioned way. My word is my bond and a handshake is as good as a contract. Kane's error seems to me to be trusting Levy's word.
Spurs peaked at the right time to sign him to 6 years.

Is he really an upgrade to Leno?

This was the contentious part from a month ago when the links surfaced, whether he’s that significant an upgrade. Especially given what price could get you across the continent. However the Leno situation really is becoming a pressing issue at Arsenal.

Seems to be an understanding that he’ll leave the club next summer when he’ll have 1 year left on his contract. Doesn’t seem interested in extending and neither does Arsenal. Furthermore, his form isn’t very convincing.

Distribution from the back is deteriorating and he’s an easy target for pressing from the opposition (Brentford did very well to put him and Xhaka under constant pressure - Arsenal’s vulnerabilities are so evident).

It’s at the point now due to Arsenal’s inexplicable dithering on signing another GK, that the club just has to get Ramsdale done now.

wouldnt loyalty be honouring the contract you signed that set wage records for the club?
How are we being made out as the bad guys. Just looking out for our best interests.

This will teach the next spurs player to not be so loyal to the Spurs.

This makes no sense, letting players move at their own will would be more of a sign of weakness.

Kane gets his move if City cough up 160m pound +. It's a simple equation that sees all sides of the deal as winners and fits in with the " we will sell you if the right offer comes in" supposed gentleman's agreement between Levy & Kane. Kane can blame his blubbering brother if he cannot convince Pep / City to cough up the required funds as they definitely can afford it with ease.

Also in 12 months time Mbappe will be leaving PSG and Kane could replace him and reunite with Poch to play guaranteed CL football for the next 5 years of his career. Might be best for him to stay put for now.
I believe Kane is one of those players that wants to stay in his motherland.

Yeah his ego will want the PL record from Shearer.

Sheffield reportedly want 40 mil for Ramsdale please tell me you wouldn't pay that much for him though despite desperation.

They don't, they sold him for 23m + add-ons in the end.
