So many young guns in Ligue 1. Sarr really needs at least another season in Ligue 1 to develop. The loan back to Metz deal is ideal.
Depends which EPL club buys him I guess. If it's one of the big 4 he'd be better off heading back on loan but if it was Spurs, Arsenal, Hammers etc he'd get a lot of games straight up.

According to the papers we made a deal with Laporte at the end of last season that he could go if he finds someone willing to pay £60m.

Good signing at that price (and wages) for anyone that can afford it.
Maybe one for the PSG super-team next season.

PSG must have a wage bill of 70% to total turnover ratio by 2023. They wont be able to sign too many players on ridiculously high wages next summer.
They will if Mbappe leaves

He is very likely to leave which will cost the club dearly long term. His current wages are 350k per week so isnt the problem with their wage bill. PSG have put 750k / week on the table which he has repeatedly turned down.

They will have significant issues if they have a similar window next year although Messi will probably be gone in 2023 which should help.

Oh that's right, although I think he's partial to you guys also a bit.

I mean to be fair, if Rice wants to leave in 12 months that's fine and his prerogative. We'd probably need Champions League to convince him to stay.

But when Ben White goes for 50M and Grealish double that, I think we're well within our rights to be demanding what we are for him at the moment really.

On another note, Fabio Carvalho scored for Fulham again today.

18 year old attacking midfielder, contract finishes at the end of the season.

We've been linked with him along with a few other clubs. He's one to watch for the next week in terms of a possible move I think.

Matt Law is one of our plants that we feed info to. He used to have a source in the squad too but Cahill isn't here anymore.

This all seems like just Rice being annoyed that no one's coming from him, which is his own fault for signing the last contract.

United will go hard next summer, im not sure about us as we already have a deep CM.

Rice wants to come to United. Don't think Chelsea are really in the picture due to their reluctance to purchase a former academy player. It's certainly a transfer for next summer though
Buying former footballers doesn't bother us, it's just not an area of need for us(especiallyat £100m). We are looking for a 4th in line CM currently with Saul on loan sounding like an option. If not RLC or Ampadu will take it.

Need to leave a spot open for Gilmour next season.

Could see you guys going hard for him too if Rodri struggles.

I guess United hopes that doesn't happen.
For me he's better suited to other teams. I don't think we'd be interested.

Guessing because he's more say a box to box defensive midfielder rather than a deep lying playmaker etc.

United are the team he'd be really good for, I think if they don't finish top 2 and Fred or McTonimay don't improve, they'll push for it heavily next summer as Bojan said....

Wasn't that the reason why Lamps wasnt supported in his quest to sign Rice?

I'm guessing it had something to do with already having Jorginho, Kante, Kovacic and Gilmour. He was told we weren't spending another £80m on a already loaded mid field.
