Money doesn't mean anything to the sportswashing clubs.
If money was no object we would have had Kane in the lineup two weeks ago.

If nothing else, I think we've demonstrated (as we have many times in the past) that we're not prepared to just pay what it takes.

Sure we've spent plenty, as have PSG, as have Manchester United.

Rashford injury is less reason they'd sell martial this window, without a replacement.

Greenwood plays 9 or rw but I doubt they'd go into the season with just baby greenwood and made of glass cavani. IMHO.

For some reason I thought he played on the left but might be thinking of when he's played more centrally and roamed around a bit more, as I thought James played RW first game and Sancho played there a bit in the second. Regardless, if Martial goes I don't think United are in urgent need of a replacement.

From.inter to replace rom iirc.

Not heard many everton links

I don't think it's baffling

Don't think they're going to get better than that for him and he's fallen off a cliff.

As for Ronaldo.

No thanks.

Mason only played RW last season because the only alternative was Daniel James. Now we have Jadon Sancho and Cavani will rotate with Mason. Can't play a kid 50 games a season unless you want them to burn out and be pretty much finished at 30 like Owen or Rooney.

Ole spoke in preseason about wanting 3 interchangeable forwards like in our 08/09 time with Tevez, Rooney and Ronaldo. Many thought that Greenwood playing at RW was just to shoe horn him into the team. After hearing Ole speak, it seems that it was to get him experience at RW because he can play the other 2 positions well already. Rashy can play all 3 and Sancho can play LW and RW comfortably. Mason really had a cracking end to last season after a rough start and looks like going up a level already.

I read that United have knocked back £50m for Martial this summer. Baffling if true.
Was that an English paper badly translating a European paper by any chance? We would have taken that money and ran. He's been unofficially available and the club would love to recoup their investment in him but realistically would take £35m imo.

Ronaldo isn’t a striker though, perhaps he could finally play there successfully at City but there no guarantee.

Fair enough it hasn't worked at Juve in that role, still think he would be a capable CF.

There's no doubt we are the only ones and we are just looking at hm for depth for a season.

Atletico are desperate to get him off the books for some reason.

Smells fishy but it'll be good for us with the amount of games we've got.

I really just think it's the really long contract at high wages, no re-sale value at the end.

Replacement? Greenwood is the permanent replacement, instead of being in and out of the team when Cavani is available.

Last season sure, now Greenwood is permanent in the front three, Martial failed his test last weekend. Greenwood - Cavani - Sancho works well for me.

He can play across the front three.

Good thing it's not.

Lol no, there was a rumour of a loan move to Inter which didn't gather any legs.

Was fantastic two seasons ago but last campaign was very injury effected. He is talented but also very lazy.
