I haven't bothered to keep updated with the Barca financial situ but the last I read that 25-30m wouldn't do much for them although not re-signing Messi helps.

I think the advanced metrics favour him fairly well considering he was #1 in the league for repeat sprints (Raphinha was #2) and his pressing stats are also very high.
