Wow, must have been a real bad egg if nobody would even pay a small transfer fee for him. We got rid of Balotelli in a similar manner. Wonder where he will pop up now, he has all of September right?

There's a deadline day to confirm PL squads until January. That deadline isn't the same day as the transfer window closes, not sure exactly when it is but you can add free agents up until the squad deadline day.

Werner is the only one of those that we were seriously linked with and ended up with Jota instead.
