Well I'm not a coach but I think Tuchel could just be preserving him. Just because a player gets bench doesn't mean they're not better than the player in the starting 11. For example is Fred better than VDB just because Fred starts? As well as Matic?

Sure but is anyone actually saying Fred is a better player? No one is saying Christensen is better purely because he starts over Silva, but that's certainly a factor in favour of thinking that.

Whereas Christensen had an amazing performance in the rest of that final, an amazing Euros and has started the season very well.

That he's playing well atm? If all you needed was 3 months of good form to be considered world class there would be hundreds of world class players.

Think Tuchel has had a big impact of this form they are in now, right structure to suit them and he knows what he's doing.

As for the transfer fees - €10m loan fee + €40m buy clause that triggers after a certain number of games played (which has been reported as "easily achievable")
