No not at all, just that's better in the Championship because the opposition is easier.

I mean that was pretty clear mate.

It's so clear it didn't really need to be said, so I was a bit confused about why you said it.

I mean, I'm sure if he played in League Two he'd score even more goals. But that doesn't really add anything to the conversation does it?

Cant help it if you were confused mate. I mean that's kinda of your problem not mine. #gotoschool

Bit early to be drinking mate, your posts over a few threads have been bizarre this morning.

It does, at a lower level. As he came up to the top level, those numbers regressed quite a lot. Which happens for a lot of players.

Look at Pukki for example. 29 in the Championship, 11 in the Premier League, 26 in the championship, 3 in 11 so far in the Premier League.

Levels.
Liverpool players may be capable of creating more chances for Bowen than say Norwich with Pukki.

Jota had something like 15 in 60 appearances for Wolves in the PL.. it's almost like being in a side that has a shot every 5 minutes might lead to more chances for forwards to score.

In all fairness... It's not easy playing for the Norwich and co down the bottom... It would be hard for anyone except the most elite.

Midtable sides (well, not WH atm) have too much financial clout these days to get pushed around for their best players.

The likes of Rice, Phillips, Bowen, Raphinha, ASM, Bissouma would demand Grealish-esque fee's if they moved. Maybe not £100m+, but I think all of their clubs would be demanding £60m-£100m. Rice would demand £100m+ with Raphinha probably close to the next dearest in the league from outside the main sides.

The days of the top 4-5 clubs getting their best players at a snip are over, unless they are out of contract.

They also know if they hold their nerve the big 4 will pony up a big fee.

Celtic have a potential star on their books. João Pedro Neves Filipe aka "Jota". Plays a lot like Ronaldo. On loan from Benfica, they have option to buy him for € 7.5M. They should sign him up, give him the number 7 shirt, bleach his teeth and wait for the big money offers.

Rice is worth 100m. He'd transform United.

I've definitely found myself watching Rice a lot more this season with West Ham doing so well, and I really get it with him. He's a machine.

ASM this season: 2 goals, 3 assists.
Bowen this season: 2 goals, 6 assists.
Glamour score on his Fifa card please. Important stat.

I always thought Rice was a bit overhyped but the level he’s playing at this season is unreal. He’s got world class written all over him.
He's definitely taken his game to a new level this season. I thought he'd just be a holding midfielder but he appears to be more box to box now and influencing games at both ends.

I think Rice is perfectly suited to Man United, and that's where I reckon he'll end up if he does leave West Ham.

Hopefully he stays put. I don't think we'll buy him but I don't want him anywhere else.

Where's that Eric Dier comparison post when you need it...... ;)

I'd also say if United were to sign him, he should just play as a holding midfielder no matter what, that's what you desperately need ATM.

Maybe Rice goes to Chelsea with Jorginho back to Italy
