He's a left back anyway. They have Dalot... not sure why they aren't using him as he's better going forward than back.

Williams has played RB a few times in the past, agree with your point about Dalot as a wing back though.

And it will only get so much worse. The club isn’t sacking Ole so it’s either play Sancho at RWB or, use him the way he is being used at the moment, on the bench.

It’s a lesson that when a player is looking to go to a different club, the manager is just as important as the squad. Ole is Mourinho without the anger (or the success). At least Sancho’s second season at United should be better since it will be with a different manager who has a clue.

Players were always gonna have to sacrifice their offensive games and grow a defensive back bone to fit Ronaldo in so this move was inevitable

He’s only 22. Hard enough moving to a bigger club and establishing yourself with a club under pressure. Better to not have to worry about captaincy. Guys who arrive at new clubs and appointed captain straight away should be more experienced older players
