Honestly I’d be worried nobody will be able to afford him and we’ll lose him for free. But surely those two aforementioned campaigners see the light of day eventually

Exchange rate helps.. last year they would have had to pay more to match the Euro fee.

I think it more likely that Chelsea or City decide that he's worth it and pay the agents and family what they want. That may mean that BVB get offered less than he's worth as a result though

That’s the gamble you play with Raiola though. Money is a lot, but end of the day to be attractive you need to be playing UCL every year and losing him too, suddenly we look fairly shaky.

Plus, once we get 180m for him or whatever he costs - every other player we go to buy goes up by tens of millions
