Arsenal could do with a good CB though with Gabriel. He's better than Holding, Chambers and Mari... while Saliba is still on loan this year isn't he?

Personally I'd take White over Keane and Mina. But we'd have to sell one of them. That and Holgate needs to be sold anyway, plus Branthwaite and Gibson are waiting in the wings (Branthwaite is likely to be better but is just 18/19)

Arsenal had the 3rd or 4th best defence last season. Arsenal need a new midfielder and forward more than a defender.

I really don’t want to get by hopes up even with everything pointing to it happening. After reading yesterday that Varane will wait 3 weeks until his holidays are over before deciding, that gives me flashbacks to all the previous times I have read that and then the player has re-signed.
