Threre's significant pressure from Qatar for Mbappe to be a PSG player when he represents at Qatar 2022. That's why Macron & the Emir of Qatar are involved. Believe they even offered 100m over two seasons out of desperation.
The only way Qatar will get him signed up now is to somehow blackmail him pretty much. He's the best in the world and no amount of money can compensate him for wasting the best years of his career in Ligue 1.
It's absolutely farcical that PSG are using political influence to try and force Mbappe to sign up. That really should not be allowed in all honesty. Maybe the next threat will be from the FFF who unfortunately are in the pocket of the human rights abusing Qataris. If they say to Mbappe either you sign a contract extension at PSG or face expulsion from the 2022 WC squad what do you reckon Mbappe would do?

Don't underestimate the power of the Qataris, if they want something they keep throwing money around to get it. They'll use any means possible to force a new Mbappe contract. They're scum and not welcome within french football for the most part.
