Probably deserved more than that, but he never seems to be talked up for individual honours.
I thought you overpaid at the time, just as I thought United were crazy looking to buy him for a similar price the year before.
But has been as integral to your successes over the last half a decade as anyone imo. I'll be glad when he's gone tbh.

Yeah that fans dont want Mane to go.
Mane leaving isnt surprising. He has won every possible trophy he can at Liverpool and wants to try something else while he is still able to before he is too old.
I wouldn't describe him looking to move on awkward at all nor would I describe any Liverpool fan wanting him / expecting him to stay as awkward either.

It was awkward because Jod was so definitive that he wasn't about to announce he was leaving and then he announced exactly that.

It was a definitive comment that turned out to be wrong, and he had told people who thought he was wrong that they were definitely wrong. It was funny and Zidane made it into more than it was. "All this Jod baiting" is two instances in the last two days that were no different to a dozen other interactions on here. Including several from Jod himself.
Let him fight his own battles if he's really upset about it.
