He is a rb iirc
Nah, hes a CB who can chop out at FB if needed. He's not a specialist there imo, i think hes started like 7 games there over the last couple of seasons.

I don't think they can afford that. Does anybody pay that kind of money in one hit anymore?
I don’t think they’d have to pay it one hit, it says ‘many years’ so I’m assuming we want it over 2 where Barca wanna pay over 5 years or something like that.
In saying that I have no idea how transfer payments work.

Cause they had Mazraoui

Timber apparently had 50 games at rb and a few at lb

Looks like receiving €18m + €8m bonuses from Villareal for Lo Celso.

Then 3 PL clubs chasing Winks for around £20m

We've done ok there. GLC is not robust enough for English football so getting that sort of fee is decent. It's a little less that we paid IIRC but the hit we are taking is not that bad given he was a pretty massive flop for us.

If we get anything near 20m for Winks then we'll have committed daylight robbery.

Ultimately though, we'll take a massive hit on N'dombele (if we can even find a buyer) so the Winks sale will mitigate a chunk of that.

Are Lyon not taking up their option on Ndombele?

I think they will. We paid 14m for Mason about 5 years ago and Winks is in a similar mould.

We'll see, I think most mid table and lower clubs are moving away from just accepting automatic valuations from the top clubs.

Minamino is a another good example. He's worth £20m now, just because he's played for Liverpool? His stats are horrible compared to his team mates in the same role and they paid £7m for him a few years ago?

Is Winks honestly any better than someone like Jack Cork?

It's like £20m is the starting point of absolutely anyone, no matter how s**t, for one of these clubs, just because...

If he wasn't English we wouldn't be getting close to 20m. Being English adds at least 5m

Not a hope in hell they take up their option to purchase unless Levy slashes the asking price in half.

N'dombele is a lazy, fat prick with a massive attitude problem. On first look I will admit to being completely hoodwinked by him. He has so much talent, an ungodly amount of ability actually. But he has zero work ethic and is unlikely to wake up to himself.

I think most clubs would prefer O'Brien or Garner for half the price tbh.

I imagine his wage demands are probably quite ridiculous for his output also.

Garner wouldn't be half the price and United wouldn't sell for less than 30m, he is part of long term plans.

I really hope we dont sell him. Has to be given a chance to play ahead of McFred now.

Haha, OK.

He's now suddenly close to the most expensive Championship player in history?

Which United is that by the way? Sheffield, Leeds, Newcastle, West Ham, Scunnie, Hartlepool, Rotherham?
