Kane at 28 to City for 150m + in this market would really be a masterstroke by Levy if he pulled it off.

Suspect City are trying to shrug off the moneybags image though so dont see it happening.

If we thought he was worth that money and it was within our budget we would pay it and wouldn't give a toss if people see us as a moneybags club.

Guys got 25+ goals a year in him for the next 5 years minimum. No one loses that scenario.

On that basis yeah for sure it would be a great deal. But he is 28 and has a long history of injuries. Mbappe would be a done deal at that price with 12 months left on his contract and will likely be the best player in the world for the next 8-10 years.

Budget, lol.

Have had from day 1. And we'll have a price (fee and wages) for Kane where if we can't get him for that price we'll walk away.

As we have done for many players.

It may be a high budget, but its a budget nonetheless.

Ok Jod.

In interesting(ish) news, the embargo the EFL has placed on a sizeable number of clubs in order to receive grant money to support cash flow through COVID is being challenged, as one of the requirements is that squads be no larger than 25. Issue with this being that ANY player who has played a single minute of league action is counted in that 25 AND players out on loan are still counted in the 25. Meaning clubs are theoretically disincentivised from blooding youngsters and then loaning them out.

Hull are challenging the requirements in place and quite rightly too, I would hope other clubs are challenging them too. Seems utterly bizarre to count loaned out players in the 25 let alone youngsters who have played a handful of minutes.

Well it's confirmed back to Juventus it is.

Why because some fans are against it? PSG is still his most likely destination and I doubt he or PSG give a shit about what some fans think.

PSG might not give a sh*t but Pogba does lol, don't think a player that's a sook wants to go somewhere where he isn't wanted.

Have Chelsea been linked to anyone else other than Haaland?
Tchouameni and Adama Traore are really the only ones and even they're loose links.

We aren't being linked with him anyway, seems like when we won the league the last couple of times and sat on our hands.

We should be still looking to improve but we arent being linked with anyone.
I honestly think a lot of teams just don't have the finances 2 years into Covid and there's a lot of hesitancy to jump into the market if you don't know if crowds will be there all season etc.

Remarkable that a Championship club in Fulham are throwing as much cash around as they are.

Definitely this. One season of normal football with crowds will see the transfer market bounce back in 12 months time.
