There were rumours he was interested in Chelsea but Bayern had no interest selling.

If Kane is prepared to divide the spurs fan base he could facilitate his move to City quite easily. A lot of Spurs fans don't like Levy. A lengthy puff piece in the papers or interview on Sky discussing the agreement he had with Levy and the supposed broken promises etc would do the trick I feel. He's not going to a traditional rival and he doesn't have to be campaigner about it like Walker on his way out the door.
Lots of people on here saying that he shouldn't have signed his contract if he wanted to leave. Look at the situation when he signed on. He signed the deal in early June 2018 at the age of 24. The club gave Poch a new deal, increased the clubs wage structure and had a new stadium around the corner. They had put together some really good seasons and were definitely in contention for the title/trophies. This was at a time when Dele Alli knew how to play football.
12 months later they make a champions league final and Kane's decision looks smart on his part. Since then Spurs have gone downhill on and off the field (excluding moving into the new stadium) whilst Kane at least statistically has been better than ever.
Now he looks stupid for agreeing to the contract and we all made decisions at 24 that we regret but you can only really judge someones decision based on the facts (hi Rafa) at the time. Contracts this, Contracts that, there is still a large portion of business that gets done over here the old fashioned way. My word is my bond and a handshake is as good as a contract. Kane's error seems to me to be trusting Levy's word.

My post wasn't directed at you or anyone really mate. Just adding a bit of context to the conversation about him signing the contract extension which I think is important.Let me re-phrase. He could have signed a contract with an explicit clause regarding no trophies/top 4.
Yes and no. Vlahovic had an excellent season last season and looks a very good player. Good for Spurs though.Good news Spurs fans and the rest of the league.
Yeah he looks a really good CF, but Kane is the best footballer in the league(imo anyway) and City would dominate with him up top.Yes and no. Vlahovic had an excellent season last season and looks a very good player. Good for Spurs though.
Spurs with Levy do have form waiting for the last minute on deadline day to sell their best players so I wouldn't rule it out this time with Kane.I really can’t see a deal getting done for Kane this late. Assuming he does stay and maintains his form, Spurs will really need to deliver this season though. They have to make top 4 to keep him. I don’t even think a cup win would be enough.
Let’s get this right. A man whose only club here is Melbourne Victory is using sh*t as a pejorative to describe my club?
Wooden spoon Melbourne Victory who get absolutely battered this season by Melbourne City. We just beat Melbourne’s owner lol
He gets 296k as it is. No question he’s meeting his bonus clauses to get the extra 96k p/w.
Why feel sorry for a guy whose dumb brother allowed a contract for 6 years without out release conditions.
Pedro to join Lazio.
