On another note, Fabio Carvalho scored for Fulham again today.

18 year old attacking midfielder, contract finishes at the end of the season.

We've been linked with him along with a few other clubs. He's one to watch for the next week in terms of a possible move I think.

Yeah he is a very good young player.

Rice is a fantastic CM. Would almost complete United, just really that CF hole to fill.

Had not seen much of Rice I have to admit prior to the Euro's. He was very good, surprised me a bit. Would suit United right now as is the biggest position of need we have. Won't happen though.

That's a steal for Lyon, a reflection of the tough economic times. Doesn't help that the other club chasing him were Lazio who also are skint. I see their initial bid was 4m, that's taking the piss just a little!! Will miss the Shaq attack for sure but he needs regular football at this stage of his career. Leaves a CL and league winner and all round good bloke.
