He can play both, almost a young Ngolo Kante. Only got 1 season of senior football under his belt which was obviously very good but also have to keep in mind that was mostly played in empty stadiums at low intensity. It was the right move to loan him for another season first.

Yeah that's a fair comparison, although much more raw than Camavinga who has 2 years of senior football under his belt.

Lots of talk about Camavinga but don't be surprised if he signs a new deal at Rennes. Yes he has 2 seasons of football under his belt but he is still only 18 and there isn't a better place for younger players to develop than Ligue 1. He isn't at the level yet where he can be a starter at a top 6 club. Another season at least in Ligue 1 will do him the world of good and he probably doesn't want to leave Rennes for free (apart from FIFA required U23 compensation)


My prediction is he signs a new deal and moves in 12 months time to an EPL club for around 40-50 million.

To be fair he asks our CB's just to defend well and to be threats at set pieces, doesn't care much for passing ability.
