He does love playing out wide and cutting in but I just dont see him tracking back enough at nearly 37 to the degree that Pep would require in his teams.

There is a logjam already at Left Wing, the transfer fee means that we won't sign a CM which we desperately need, and unless he performs well it could turn into a shitshow.

It would have hurt seeing him play for City but this doesn't make us a materially better team imo.
