Why would Kane take a backwards step?

He can leave his current club who have no prospects to win trophies for a much bigger club who have no prospects to win trophies.

I am not seeing the issue.

Ooooooooh.
I'm not saying it to get bites, but he's at a club who's manager is as good as it gets outside of Pep/Klopp and is going to get backed in the market. If he was to leave it'd only be for City.

Plus United is a mess and it'll take a fair while to fix yet.

While Conte is there and they back him they certainly have prospects to win stuff imo.

Not saying this to be a jinx either haha.

Think we'll have at least one more request from Conte for Spurs to sack him.

But I do disagree with you, United still has pulling power and I'm confident we'll be nailing our next manager decision. Saying that I'd prefer the club to go for Nunez, think he has great potential and is going to get better.

5 more years of obsession
More years than your beloved Tories have left.

I'd rather stay consistent than anything else, but at least I have a differing opinion unlike most of the Sheep Minds on here.

I doubt it. Hopefully Boris goes though and a true Conservative takes over

If the deal is 150m + Martial Levy should take it.
Yeah not happening.

Considering City offered that much and Spurs turned it down, Kane still open to leaving can't see us forking out more than 100 mil for him.

But Kane isn't the answer for us it starts with fixing our defence first.

This probably sums you up best. You’d rather be consistent than correct. Once you have an opinion on something you refuse to change out of pure stubbornness. Very odd.

We all get things wrong, that’s the beauty of sport. There’s nothing wrong with changing your opinion over time.

Cool story, thanks for not reading any of my posts and just assuming things. I have changed my opinion over time on many things, but that doesn't make a great story now does it?

David Moyes insists it will take over £150million to sign Declan Rice: "If you are interested, well, it will be north of that. One hundred was cheap last summer. One hundred and fifty just now would be minimum but he is not for sale."

Heard Dec got a bit spooked by the Chelsea owner situation as well now chef

Reckon he stays for 1 more season at most, but he has 3 years left on his deal after this one.

I dont think we are really chasing him atm, we have Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic and Gallagher(returning for next season). So we are a season or 2 off worrying about CM.

If he really is desperate to come to us he can run his contract down a bit more so we can afford him. No rush atm.

We never made an offer.
