That's the point. They don't have to put in anywhere near as much effort to identify players that are realistic targets as clubs like ours do because that pool is far larger and far more gettable for them.

But they pay a much higher fee as a result. You pay a premium for knowing the player will cope in the PL. You pay cheaper and take the gamble. If they work out you get a huge fee as compensation. That's literally how it works. Where's the complaint?

There was no complaint. You could do a job for them at that level using your knowledge of the game.
