Less so Bellingham specifically, more that it was clear from the start of the window that we needed to bring in another midfielder to refresh the middle third the way we have the front third..

Thiago & Keita are great but can’t be relied upon to play more than 2/3 of the season, Carvalho & Elliott are talented but still kids and Milner is old enough to be their grandad.

Yeah fair call. Could also target someone who’s on the fringe like a Sabitzer - still has some legs left. Especially if Bayern are serious about FDJ.

This is crazy to me.

Klopp has put the blame on himself which I'm sure is to take all the heat off of anybody else. But it's always interesting to me that fans seem to see stuff much quicker than people directly involved in the club.

We could all see Liverpool were in desperate need of midfield help this summer. Nothing happened... and now when we start poorly and only a couple of weeks to go in the market, the blokes in charge of this shit has caught up to the fans point of view.

If we get Dubravka in this season, he will be fighting it out with DDG which is a good thing. After DDG, it was Tom Heaton and that was a big problem.

I imagine Dean Henderson will be back next season and I can see him being the #1 keeper (should have been this season), even if DDG or Dubravka are at the club.
