Not sure the window will result in too much radical change in European placings.

Maybe Newcastle sneak into the top 7. Suspect if any changes from last years top 4 it could be United but not a lot of confidence in that.

I wouldn't be as confident.

If anything the past 2 years has proven that the steady flow of income into the lower PL sides is slowly but surely raising the level of the bottom half teams.

It's not so much the specific improvement of the top teams, but the improvement of the bottom teams, as they are the ones that will be stripping points.

This is definitely the most even group I can remember. The gap has never been smaller between 20th and 5th/6th imo.

I can see a Brighton or Newcastle breaking into a Europa league spot.

United have had a great window and if Barca weren't campaigners we'd have FDJ as well, will re-visit in Jan or end of season.
Yeah don’t know why we need to feel humble that we didn’t get him lmao.

Most likely get him next window and we signed casemiro so….

What's the general feeling on Aubameyang, is he still decent?

His last season and a half at Arsenal he was crap, but his half season at Barca he bamged them in.

It's a low cost gamble that I'm happy for us to take.

Cupboard is pretty bare for CFs atm.

Odd take by Howe when you consider what Chelsea and Utd were willing to pay for some players, yet they seem to undervalue Harrison at least. He just expects clubs to rollover?

The amortisation god has spoken.

After 10+ years of being told that net spend is the be all and end all, I must admit to a bit of enjoyment in the fact that it doesn't seem to be such a big deal any more.
