Refresh my memory, who didn't work out?

Wenger was a while back now.

Fabio Vieira seems a good transfer for all parties ?

For some reason I was mistakenly thinking of Joorabchian. Apologies. Vieira yes looks an astute signing and I think will be much better the second half of this season after injuries delayed his start at Arsenal.

Conolly from Brighton and Ebiowie from Palace both joining on loan in the next few days for us, don't mind either of them, bolster the attacking ranks.

Lots of interest in Oscar, Tufan, Tetteh and Sinik but suspect we'll try to hold onto all of them.

Connolly is gash. He can't score in any league he goes to.

Yeah I'm curious as I expect the link is due to Rosenior working with him at Brighton, so wonder if he can get a tune out of him.

Connolly is absolute
rubbish.

Shame as he broke on the scene with such promise. Rosenior must back himself to turn him around.

Yeah since he burst onto the scene against Spurs he's just gone backwards at a great rate.

The fact no team that's had him on loan keeps him for very long says a lot.

Thats why it's being spread over instalments, I guess.

Instalments don't matter, payment terms are different to when the expense is recognised, but you're right in a sense as it's the length of the deal that will impact the cost in this year for FFP purposes.

Is it the length of the original contract or does it get further diluted by extensions?
i believe it's the original length. so say it's 120 mil 6 year contract, that's 20 mil on your next 6 statements. im sure there's other stuff involved and it might be different now since the relaxing of the rules a couple years back but thats how i always understood it.
