Feels like another flop.

I always wonder what that means, Arsenal and United interested but Chelsea project appealed?

What project haha? Finishing mid table in the PL?

He's only going on loan for a half a season, wouldnt he rather go to Arsenal and have a chance to win the league?

No matter who signs him on loan all they are doing is just paying his AM wage.

Maybe the project is the offer of more playing time, which is fair enough as he'd have less competition at us.

It's not a deal I would have done, I don't see him flourishing with us. I think he'd kill it at City though.

He hasn't scored more than 8 league goals in a season since he moved to Atletico Madrid.

I like him but I definitely don't think he'd be a guaranteed starter at any of the three. I really don't think this is what Chelsea need either.
