High prices players from Portugal scare me. Will the player be able to handle a significant level increase?

Lloris was a real favourite of mine but as all players do, his abilities started to wane because of age or whatever. He was very nervy and a real problem I thought at the World Cup before the 2022 one and I reckoned he needed to bow out gracefully as a World Cup winner and not ruin his legacy by hanging around too long.

At the 2022 World Cup though, I rubbed my eyes in disbelief at how competent he was and I was very happy for him but unfortunately, back to the Premier League and back to his and his teams detriment. He should have had a tap on the shoulder 2 or 3 years ago.

Has a better defence in front of him for france, but he's definitely on the wane.

Question will be, does he stick around as the #2, or do we stick with forster.
Either way, new GK at spurs is needed. Along with 2x cb, rwb, creative mid and a right winger.

While true, we have no depth there. Lokonga doesn't look up to it, and Xhaka is playing a more advanced role this season, one he's excelling it. If Partey gets a long term injury right now, we're in real trouble. He's the pivot that all of those attacking options rotate around.

They are both 30 aswell. So Rice is a need in reality.

That seems like a myth that gets repeated with different people; people were saying the same of Weghorst at Burnley. Bit of a weird anecdote anyway.

He's 28 now and into his 12th year at the club so I think being that age and a local Sussex lad his desire to move to another club now would be very small.

That's how long he's been working hard and biding his time to win a bigger role.

Trossard and Osmihen would finish off your attacking options nicely. . Give them 15 year
contracts on 50k / week. Balance paid upon departure or retirement.
