Wise.
Competing with one club that needs to activate a lever just to buy a snickers from a vending machine and another that’s got 37 right backs in its 453 man squad. All the while the sell on fee goes to a club that wouldn’t bother bending down to pick up anything less than £50m.
yeah I'd have gone number one myselfHorrific
Ha ha, awful.
Porro likely to be signed onto a 4 year deal. We have that little faith in our scouts that we don't want to spread the cost over 8 years? Or does getting the costs through faster tie in with an enic exit strategy.
Didn't he come on against Fulham? And in the NLD come to think of it, he was the one getting in Ramsdale's face.
All this talk about clubs exploiting long contracts to spread costs. And then we are doing the opposite. Doesn't make sense since you'd think we'd be leaders in creative accounting![]()
Clean up that dribble down your chin.
What on earth or you rambling on about.

It's half that of some others for similar age players. And we've historically handed out 5 and 6 year deals.Wouldn't really call a 4 year deal the 'opposite' of a long term deal.
What happened with/to Spence?
Club signing so Conte doesn't use him. What happened with/to Spence?
We are buying a player via release clause. We pay in whatever structure Sporting will agree to.All this talk about clubs exploiting long contracts to spread costs. And then we are doing the opposite. Doesn't make sense since you'd think we'd be leaders in creative accounting
Yeah my point isn't the fee. Just that other clubs are putting on longer contracts and spreading it out on their books. Seems like the sort of thing we'd do. But we appear to have shortened our contract offer down from the 6 year type deals we've been burnt with duds like Sanchez, Ndombele etc.We are buying a player via release clause. We pay in whatever structure Sporting will agree to.
We had and still have a huge need for someone in his position. So seemed like a logical good move for all. Our manager just won't play someone who hasn't got multiple caps for their country and/or top flight experience. He also won't drop a woefully out of form player for our 60m record signing. So it's a little bit of a mess all aroundSucks he's stalled his career. I guess big club and bigger wages was to good to turn down.
Nah, release clauses need to be paid in full up front IIRC.We are buying a player via release clause. We pay in whatever structure Sporting will agree to.
