Hang on, not having 'big club' exit clauses is materially different to 'none of the players have exit clauses'. If you've been hanging your hat on that then you really need to go to Specsavers because your incomprehension of what the written word says is startling.

“We try and avoid things like that because they become such a point of discussion in negotiations that you spend hours and hours on something that may never happen or, if it does happen, it may not be the right price at the right time.
“We try and avoid things like that. We know other clubs use them, and that’s fine, but it’s not something that we tend to get involved with.”

Seems clear to me.

Everything he said would to the normal person say MacAllister doesn't have such a clause.

MacAllister didn't need any clause because we weren't going to deny him talking to other clubs.

Get it?

IF ever there was a Fab like infallible cult adoration, it is Brighton fans and Tony Bloom.

Can't even question the infallible one, remember, he's a poker player....
He’s an honest poker player though. Never bluffed ever.

We see this all the time though. Buying and selling clubs vary how things are reported. A player sold for a cheap fee will usually be fee undisclosed by the seller and the buyer more likely to leak to journo’s their great price.

Tony Bloom doesn't deal with the contracts.

So why bring his name up?

Were taking about Paul Barber. CE of the year.

Envious deal really. Good price for a quality player

Yep, great deal. Bargain. Will definitely go to the next level under Klopp.

I agree, there is a difference.

If Mac is signs for 45m that's brilliant business. We will see - it's all talk until the player is holding up a jersey at a press conference.

Hes only fit for a third of a season though.
Plus he's being offered €50m a year.
I don't need your logic right now Chef, I just need my premier league winning midfielder back...

Danny Drinkwater is unattached and available on a freebie.
Not that one.

Although I'd be interested seeing what he could do again now back in the Championship. Probably been out for too long.
