He'll still have 2 years, Hammers have an option to extend. Even next year they'll want the farm for him.

I have no doubt you can afford it but it is fair to say you rarely pay those prices out of choice.

We would have to sell at least Mane or Salah at the minimum to accomodate Nunez. Obviously Bayern want Mane so that seems most likely.

The word 'legend' gets thrown around too easily sometimes. One PL title probably rules that out.

But he's been a good member of the squad for us, if he was willing to stay I'd be happy we passed. But it sounds as if he does want a move.

Not sure he's ever played in the midfield for us, maybe once or twice if he has. He's good there for Ukraine, and for a.non left back he does alright there as well.good character around the training ground too.

We only have double the required home grown quota so shouldn't sign an English back up keeper who is past his best and came through the Academy setup and loves the club.

Fair enough if you were being generous and kind to Heaton but there's still plenty of other examples of it being done across the big clubs.
