And yet look how well Sess did this season with a world class coach and squad. He displaced our starter there.

Yeah ok so you'd rather spend 20-25m to maybe get an ok player in 3 years time rather than someone who can help you next season.

The 30m saved can go to the cb or cm they that they’re more in need of.

If Son is unavailable or being subbed out I think Perišić on the left side would be a better option than Richi.
Spot on

It's not 30m saved when KLP is not a like for like with Richy. You're investing in something that won't bear fruit for a few years and not fixing the problem that getting Richy solves.

Can be an experienced player instead and yes maybe not as good, but they already have Kulusevski and now Perisic…not as great a need. Soon find out I guess. Again I reckon Richy better off at two other London clubs.

There’s even a polish joke in there, full credit to them:

“Lewandowski has United fans in his family, after some of them spent time working in Manchester.”

Richarlison is an absolute flog but it would still improve the team to get him. 5 subs and a condensed season will mean teams need good squad depth.

I cant understand why any Spurs fan wouldn't want him. PL proven, 25 years old. Son & Kane are likely gone within 3-4 years also, he could take over from them.

So we're being linked with Ismaila Sarr today for 25M quid and Benrahma is being linked with a move to Fulham for 15M.

I would consider that an upgrade in all honesty for the simple fact that Sarr has more pace and would be a better fit in Moyes' system.

Aguerd should be confirmed tomorrow finally, pulled out for the Moroccan team today.

Lingard isn't joining it sounds like, my guess is he's going to join Jose at Roma.

Need a shithouse in the squad now that Lamela is gone.

Good to see traction from a Liverpool based source.
Just got to get it past our accounting department now - NZ branch office. ;)

Personally I'm just disappointed that a rich owner can just throw countless millions into football club to buy players and improve their squad. Ruining football is what Spurs are doing and it's just not fair on the rest of us.

Would be ideal he signs scores 9 league goals and we win the league. But he ain't scoring 9 league goals in a successful spurs season.

He will only help us if disaster strikes and one of our stars goes down. And even then we drop in quality.

Really surprised the concept of spending close to half a transfer budget and not improving the quality of the starting XI is seen as great business. Sure if you're Liverpool or city and the starting xi is stacked. But we have Dier, Davies, Hojberg, Djed Spence / Doherty and Bentacur in ours.

If we end up breaking the transfer record on him he's really stuffed. Rebrov, Soldado, Lamela, Sanchez and then Ndombele before him. None lived up to the price tag or hype

Suggests the Mané/Bayern deal is probably close too. Leaves with the best wishes of all Liverpool fans I’d imagine. What a contribution. Nunez has big shoes to fill!

Most expensive CB, GK and 4th most expensive PL signing. Yet the woe is me line vs city is rolled out

It is kinda funny that we just waltzed in and stole him from you guys. Weird role reversal from times gone by huh.

His next club match will most likely be the first one most of your supporters have watched. I guess we would have been the same if he chose United.

Well technically I've watching him play twice cos we played Benfica twice last season in the CL. ;)
