Outside of Raphinha who have Leeds signed in the last two years who's been any good?
Harrison and Gelhardt would be the only ones. Llorente had a good first season but very poor this season. Koch had a better 2nd season and for the price is fine. James was ‘ok’. Firpo, Rodrigo, Costa all terrible.

Meslier, Harrison, Gelhardt, Greenwood, Hjelde, Drameh Summerville, Bate have all be signed in the last 2 years, that I think will prove to be astute buys.

Koch i think will prove to be a decent buy if he gets an injury free run and in his correct position.

He signed Struijk on a free and effectively engineered a swap of Viera for Bamford.

He was also the man that single handedly got Bielsa to a mid table Championship club.

If you track his record of current player values vs what he bought them for, he's hugely up.

As for Rodrigo, he's defintatetly not been worth his fee (particularly his age), but he's been far from "terrible", just hugely inconsistent. 13 goals and 3 assists from 41 starts since he arrived isn't the worst getting around, he secured some points alone this season that kept us up....

James cops plenty of shit from opposition fans, but he isn't even that bad. Poor end product but has as big an engine going around in the league and again, had to play out of position for almost the entire season. Think he's a more than handy player moving forward.

Any Leeds supporter that complains about the start of our window so far is fairly daft....

Im calling it now. Quadruple incoming for City.

If there has been one weakness with City is that in some games, not many but a few here and there they will struggle for a goal. Not having an out and out striker has hurt them on occasion and it's enough to lose a league title or get ousted from the CL with such fine margins.

To correct that they have gone and gotten one of the two best young prolific strikers on the planet, the other of course being Mbappe. This basically not only fixes their only weakness, it turns from a slight weakness into an incredible strength.

They will win everything next season. I can see centurions again too and perhaps invincibles too. Only team that might beat them to stop invincibles is us and even that's a stretch.

Don't be daft. Spurs did the double over them this season and have won 4 of the last 5 against them in the League.

They're far from invincible.

Yeh the first couple of signings look good, at least filling a need.

Haaland bro. Haaland.

I don’t care.

Yet to be proven in the best league in the world and he certainly doesn’t make them any less susceptible to teams that can counter at pace.

There is no way they go undefeated in this league. And there is no way they win the quadruple. They didn’t get close this season and Haaland doesn’t bridge the gap.

They have a very good chance of not losing en epl game.

Haaland scores a goal a game at international level too. Hes 21...

Haaland. Philips. Zinchenko* are pretty good additions to a near faultless squad.

* The Barca lb at brighton

We just went within a bee's dick of the Quadruple and I think they are better than us, even more so now they have Haaland.

No reason why they cant do it.

It's not about still being susceptible to being countered at pace it's the problem that you're countering them at pace but you're already down 4-0. Haha.

Invincibles is definitely a chance.

Chances are they will but they have as good a chance as most are going not dropping one.

They stack up pretty good to the famous arsenal and united teams imo
Normal seasons: UCL/EUL Finish by 1st week december.

Matchday 16. Played by December 13.

2022 WC season: UCL/UEL groups must be finished before 13/11 WC cessation.

Matchday 16: November 5-6.

So 22 fixtures + League Cup in essentially 3 months. Instead of 4.

25 matches in 92 days is one match every 3.6 days.

25 matches in 129 days is one match every 5.1 days

So the major change is essentially 3 months leading into a WC with no midweek spare… No chance City go undefeated having added the best CF in the league.

They look to have a very deep team.

Their 2nd best 11 isn't too shabby. I'd say they have some chance.

The epl has improved but if you can do it with Wiltord. Cygan. Gaspar. Lauren. G.Silva. etc. I wouldn't be writing off pep and his oil money

These were not poor players by any stretch.

Plenty thought the Melbourne Demons were going to go through undefeated too. Yet here we are three losses on the bounce.

It’s almost impossible to do. City are not that far ahead of Liverpool and other teams perform well against them too.

Essendon 2000 would have done it if not for plough inventing flooding.

It's a lot less impossible when you have two 60 million quid players in each position

Let’s see if he is the best CF in the league. I’m not so sure and would not swap him for Harry Kane right now.

I get what people are saying and I’ll eat humble pie if it happens but you’ve kind of just amplified my point.

Essendon 2000 was daylight ahead of everyone else yet even they found a way to lose one. The league is 38 games, it’s a lot of football to play even with the talent they have. Add in a compressed schedule, World Cup and Europe…at some point they will hit a flat patch.

Pretty hard to win three in a row, and I think the league will be harder for us to win than most think.

Cups we'll be in for, but it just takes a bad game (or a bad 5 minutes sometimes).

In recent seasons Liverpool and city only lost one and two games. City are will likely have a stronger squad next season.

It's unlikely but stranger events have happened. I don't like the afl comparison because even cheat teams like essendon have some sort of salary cap
