Haha some fans are bonkers, there's still 70 odd days left of the window isn't there?

Signings will happen, we are slow and they are usually latefor us.

I'm just happy enough atm that we seem to be moving the big turd on. Anything else is a bonus

Audio visual rights apparently.

Apparently they still want to offload de jong - pedri. Gavi. Kessie.

It's good for us in that they can't afford our asking price for Raphinha

Phil Hay reporting Leeds want James McAtee on a permanent as part of any Phillips deal.
Bloody hell, do you want our academy kit man as well? He'll be the only one left at this rate.

Similar to Delap and Lavia, I think we'd be reluctant to let go without it being a loan or buyback. But he will be playing senior football next season and I doubt it will be with us.

Small chance they ever become regulars at your club with your buying
Apart from McAtee how many of the top half dozen are locals

85% of our academy comes from the local area.

My understanding is that the Elite Development Squad is U23 and the Academy is U18. Then there's a bunch of players out on loan. There appears to be more than 15% of those squads who are not local lads.

Maybe where they come from is not a big deal. It's more of an issue that these youth squads are not enhancing the first team. Is Foden the only current player that has come through the ranks and made an impact?

The 85% is our academy from under 8s to under 23. Palmer broke through a bit this season, although injury stopped him from playing more. He's been at the club since 8.

All in all we had 11 players that played underage and senior football with us last season. 3 from greater Manchester, 5 from elsewhere in the UK and 3 from other countries.

It makes sense that 8 to 16 year olds are locals. Parents would have to take them to training. But then the over 16s starts being international young players. More like 50% as you get to U23.

I'm looking at the current first team squad and only Foden has come through the youth ranks to play many games. There's a few others that have played a handful of games. I suppose City's first team are one of the highest standard in Europe so it's harder for the youth to break through.
