Yeah that's kind of my point. Lewa made a big song and dance about it being his last game at the end of the season. Perhaps a touch silly in hindsight.

At his age not sure why Bayern aren't cashing in. Mane made it clear he wanted a new opportunity at a high level before he gets too old and he'd already given us his best years. An offer of what we paid for him 6 years ago was always likely to be accepted as he wasn't signing a new contract.

Lewa's payout fee is 24m euros, apparently Bayern want 40m euros to let him go, similar to what they paid for Mane which makes sense.

I think all signs point to a deal happening.

Would say say we're more prepared to sell than want to sell. And by all accounts things are pretty amicable between the club and player so I dont think there will be any issue if a deal isn't done.
