I guess technically we haven't missed any targets yet. Don't get too sucked in with all the clickbait.

We've officially bid on two footballers so far, Sterling seems to be happening and Raphinha could(though I'm not confident)also if Leeds stand their ground.

Raph is a massive upgrade on Pulisic.

I see him replacing Ziyech in that narrow right position they play.

Pulisic plays more off the left in that formation anyway and Havertz has been played as an out and out forward.


Was even talk Tuchel might be buying him to play him at wingback.

Happy to let Martinez through to the keeper. 50m for what was likely to be a player that could deputize in a couple of positions was likely not the best use of budget. Hopefully this means we now just go pay Leicester and get Tielmans through the door and reinforce the area of the pitch that needs it.

A real shame given how many clubs were interested in him previously and would have played him but Real just sat him on the bench. Real have a 50% sell on tbf so they will probably make up half of their cost in the future.
